Burying The Seed Of Faith

I was thinking about the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi and how they buried their weapons of war. They had faith like a seed, insofar as they “planted” their weapons of war, and then watered that seed with their blood. But look at the harvest. Their seed of faith grew and flourished, and the result was the 2060 stripling warriors, who were probably the single most effective group of warriors in the Nephite army. Sometimes, having faith like unto a seed means burying all of the things that are holding us back, and then watering them with our blood, sweat and tears as we try to live a new life, a life free of old habits and vices. Then will the Lord make weak things strong unto us. As we bury those parts of our life that we are convinced that we will not be able to live without, we will through time and great effort find that our faith has filled us with a power to not only live without those things but to thrive and flourish.
