Half A Legion Of Angels

"Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do." (2 Nephi 32:3). In the ancient Roman army, a legion varied in size but eventually settled to around 1000 soldiers. Today is my 500th daily spiritual thought. I have had half a legion of Angels ministering to me over the last year and a half, speaking unto me the words of Christ. I say this not to boast in my own strength but to stand all amazed at the infinite goodness of my Heavenly Father. I don't fully understand how in the last five hundred days my God has not once neglected to send an angel to lay before me a feast of the words of Christ, despite all of the ups and downs in my life, but I am humbled and grateful that He has shown me such tender mercies and loving kindness. And I am humbled and grateful that I have been permitted to share these daily thoughts with friends and family. I have learned so much over the last five hundred days about my Heavenly Father and my Savior and about the Holy Ghost, and about their great Plan of Happiness for all of us. I look forward to the next five hundred days and the next half legion of Angels and to sharing all of it with you.
