Prince of Peace

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He's not the King or the Lord or the General of Peace, but the Prince of Peace. In Latin, Prince means first among equals, and Christ is our shining example of Peace, but He can't establish peace without our help. That's why on the Sermon on the Mount, He said, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:9). Making Peace is the only way that we will truly earn our place in God's family.
