Recognize The Lord

When the two disciples were walking on the road to Emmaus, the Lord walked with them, but they did not recognize Him at first. It is necessary for the development of our faith for the Lord to not always be constantly present to our view, but that does not mean He is not there. The Lord loves us and is always with us, even if He does not always reveal Himself to us directly. But, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we can look back and recognize that the Lord was with us, because our hearts did burn within us. It is not always easy to walk through this life believing rather than seeing but we are never walking alone. The Lord is always with us, even when we do not recognize His presence.
