Irrational
Today is Pi day. Pi is an irrational number. In everyday use, irrational is usually a negative term for someone who is not thinking clearly, but in math, irrational means that it cannot be divided. Pi also is a number that goes on forever in a pattern that never repeats itself. Pi also is a constant that turns a finite line with a fixed beginning and an end into one eternal round. Like Pi, the Savior cannot be divided. "Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature can separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord." (Romans 8:39) Also like Pi, the Savior's love for us is an unending and eternal constant that goes on forever in a pattern that never repeats itself. And like Pi, the Savior, through His Atonement and Resurrection, can transform our finite lifeline, with its fixed beginning and end, into one eternal round.
