Always Connected

We live in an age where we are constantly connected to the internet, a vast, seemingly limitless store of knowledge. At any time, if we have a question, we can find the answer in seconds, and if you have a smart assistant, all you have to do is open your mouth and ask Google or Alexa or Siri. For many of us, it’s gotten so natural that the moment we want to know some fact, we immediately ask and our response is almost instantaneous. We can have the exact same reflexive relationship with being guided and given knowledge by the Spirit. Anytime there is something that we don’t know or are unsure about, we can without hesitation open our minds and hearts to the Spirit and ask with faith and a sincere heart and receive an answer. If we turned to the Lord with our questions of the soul as easily as we turned to Google or Siri when we had a question about worldly matters, then we could honestly say that we were being constantly led and guided by the Spirit. Opening our mouths and speaking to our Father in Heaven can and should be even easier and more natural than asking Siri or Google.
