“He lives to bless me with his love” (Samuel Medley, “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”). Christ loved us so much He gave His life to save us all from an eternity of misery. But He actually loves us so much more than that! He loves us so much that He came back to life to continue blessing us with His love. What difference ought it to make in our lives to know that the most powerful being in the universe truly loves us and is actively rooting for our success? Christ's whole purpose since the moment He first offered Himself up to carry out His Father's Plan in the premortal existence is to love each and every one of His brothers and sisters with every fiber of His being. Every good thing comes from His love for us, and also everything that seems bad in the moment but will actually turn out to be good to have been in the long run. When we are utterly alone and there seems to be no one that loves us or cares that we exist, Jesus Christ lives to bless us with His love. When we are heartbroken and betrayed and damaged seemingly beyond repair, He lives to bless us with His love. When we have come to the end of the line and are staring death in the face, He lives to bless us with His love. I know that my Redeemer lives to bless me with His love.
