Fisher Of Men

I'm trying something a little different. Here's a testimony as if written by Andrew the Apostle:

My family has fished on the sea of Galilee for generations. I’m pretty sure that I could swim even before I could walk. But though I cast in net after net and pulled up haul after haul, no matter how many fish I caught, it always seemed like there was something else I was fishing for. I thought I found it at last when I found John the Baptist. When I heard him speak, for the first time I felt stirrings in my heart that seemed almost to be the treasure of which I had been seeking for so long. So convinced was I that John was a true prophet like Moses or Elijah of old, that I couldn't believe John when he said there was another even greater than he coming very soon. But when I finally did meet Jesus for the first time, I knew without any doubt that He was what I had been fishing for all of this time. “Put down your nets, Andrew. You have caught me and I have caught you, but there are many more still to catch. You shall be my fisher of men.” And I have been fishing ever since. I can’t bear to think that there are others like me out there, fishing and fishing and not knowing where to find the truth they are so desperately seeking. I know that Jesus will draw all men unto Him, but He needs the help of you and me as His fishers to gather them all safely in. I bear witness that Jesus is what you have always been looking for, and that there can be no greater joy than catching one more of our Father’s precious children into the gospel net. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
