Beloved

I'm trying something a little different. Here's a testimony as if written by John the Apostle:

If I could say only one thing about myself I would say that I was the disciple whom Jesus loved. The fact that Jesus loved me does not make me unique among the disciples of Jesus, nor, even, among all of God's children. After all, Jesus laid down His life for every man, woman and child who had ever or would ever live. What greater love could there possibly be? But I call myself beloved by Him all the same. Without His love I am a dried up and withered branch, good for nothing but firewood. But with His love, I am a part of the True Vine - He is in me and I am in Him and together as One we can bring forth the fruits of eternal life, fruits that are sweeter than everything that is sweet and purer than everything that is pure and most joyous to the soul. I have dedicated all my days to proclaiming and revealing the love of my Savior wherever I find myself, and if I must I will walk to the farthest reaches of the earth and to the ends of time itself to declare that I am loved by Christ, and you are loved by Christ, and if we will just let His love into our hearts then we can truly become one with Him and with our Father in Heaven. I bear witness that Jesus is Love, in His name Amen.
