“And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” The beautiful thing about the gospel is that eventually all things will flow towards and through and together with Christ. We may occasionally find that we have separated from the Living Waters, but it does not matter how far away we wander, we will eventually, inevitably find our path flowing back into the Living Waters. Christ draws all of us towards Him. His pull, though meek and gentle, is as inexorable as gravity. Christ descended below all things. That means, if we are to flow at all, we will eventually flow back towards Him. I know that we are often tempted to fight against this flow, but always, always, we will find that no matter what path we choose, we will find that it eventually bends back towards our Savior. I hope that we can all be quick to seize the opportunities to flow together with our Savior, and if our course has diverged, to find our way back to the true source of all blessings and goodness and light
