The Alignment Of Our Souls

Draw near unto me and I shall draw near unto you promises the Savior. We can think of ourselves as something like a magnet with a positive and a negative end, and the Savior is also like a magnet, only His positive end is always pointing in one direction. If we align our positive end up with the Savior's, then we'll snap together, but if we get out of alignment, then we'll not just drift away but we'll actually repel the Savior and His influence. So if we feel like we're somehow getting cut off from the Lord, we need to take a look at the alignment of our souls and make sure we're drawn to the Lord in mutual attraction instead of pulling away from him through repulsion.
