Red Ink

The semi-official reason that today is called "Black Friday" is because for most of the year retailers are operating at a loss and traditionally transactions were recorded in red ink while they were still in debt and then they would switch to black ink once they were making a profit. Whenever we sin, our deeds are recorded in the red ink of our Savior's blood, but thanks to His grace and Atonement, we do not have to wait for some Friday in November to clear our ledgers. We can repent daily and partake of the Sacrament weekly and never spend very much time in the red.
