How Beautiful Are The Feet

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace;" Isaiah 52:7. "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;" Ephesians 6:15. "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." Romans 16:20. When God cursed Satan in the garden of Eden, he took away his feet and forced him to go on his belly. Being part of the gospel means standing on your own two feet. It means being able to run to help those in need. It means marching ever onward and ever upward to a more excellent way of living. Satan wants us crawling through the mud, miserable like he is. He wants to take away our feet, our ability to follow in our Savior's footsteps. But when we fall, all we have to do is rise again, to shake off the dust and stand on our feet and walk the gospel path.
